Lewisham station
Lewisham station is a National Rail and Docklands Light Railway station in Lewisham, south east London. The railway station is on the Southeastern London commuter rail network operated by Southeastern[4]. The Docklands Light Railway station opened in 1999 on a southward extension from Island Gardens on the Isle of Dogs. British Transport Police maintain a neighbourhood policing presence at Lewisham.[5] Deptford Deptford (pronounced /ˈdɛptfɚd/[1]) is an area on the south bank of the River Thames in south-east London. The area is named after a ford of the River Ravensbourne, and from the mid 16th century to the late 19th was home to Deptford Dockyard, the first of the Royal Dockyards. This was a major shipbuilding dock and attracted Peter the Great to come and study shipbuilding.
